May 27, 2012. (Romereports.com) In October, the Pope will meet with bishops from around the world for three weeks to study how best to convey the faith to a world that doesn't necessarily want to hear about God. It will happen during the synod for the New Evangelization. Among those organizing the event is the archbishop of Washington, Cardinal Donald Wuerl, who will be the General Rapporteur. There's also the Archbishop of Montpelier, Pierre-Marie Carré, who will serve as special secretary of the Synod. The archbishop is an expert on catechesis in Europe.
